OVERVIEW

The State operates and maintains an e-Business Directory, which is part of the State of Wisconsin's Web Access Management System (WAMS). WAMS comprises the policies, standards, hardware and software that manage the customer accounts used to authenticate individuals who are requesting access to State services via the Internet.

The Web Access Management System (WAMS)

The State of Wisconsin's Web Access Management System provides an architecture that allows people, who are authorized to access secured State Web applications, to use the same means of identification for all secured State Web applications that they are authorized to access.  In other words, if you have a Wisconsin User ID and Password, you can use that same ID and Password to purchase a fishing license from the Department of Natural Resources (DNR) and renew a driver's license with the Department of Transportation (DOT).

Create your personal account

To create your own account for accessing secured State Web applications, click WEB Access Management System and follow the Self-Registration link.  Once you have created an account, you can manage it through two other applications; account recovery and profile management.  The account recovery application allows you to access your account if you have forgotten your User ID or Password, or been locked out.   The profile management application allows you to update your contact or account information.
